Justin Garcia is a musician, electric guitarist, and philosophy enthusiast who plays with various live musical acts around Brooklyn, NY and Jersey City, NJ. Currently Justin contributes to the Brooklyn-based artist collective, "The Hau5" -thehau5.com.
Justin and I caught up after an eight-year hiatus and talked about all things music, from his early days as a rock guitarist to finding his jazz inspirations, to leaving academia to become a full-time professional musician.
